SBI Aurum Credit Card Review

The SBI Aurum credit card is an exclusive, invite-only metal credit card designed for high-net-worth individuals who enjoy luxury travel, premium lifestyle perks, and high-reward earnings. If you frequently spend on travel, fine dining, and entertainment, this card comes packed with benefits like unlimited international lounge access, milestone rewards, and premium concierge services.

One of the biggest highlights is its reward program—you earn 4 reward points per ₹100 spent on most purchases, and these points never expire. Plus, you can convert them into airline miles, hotel loyalty points, or vouchers, making it a great choice for travellers who love flexibility in their redemptions.

For frequent flyers, the card offers unlimited free international lounge visits plus quarterly complimentary guest access—a feature that most premium cards limit. You also get domestic lounge access, spa visits, and golf rounds, adding to its luxury appeal.

However, it's not for everyone. With a high annual fee of ₹9,999, you need to spend at least ₹12 lakh per year to get a waiver. Additionally, reward points are not earned on fuel, utility bills, insurance, education, or government transactions, which might be disappointing for everyday users.

For those who meet the eligibility criteria (₹40 lakh annual income) and spend heavily on travel and luxury, this card offers exclusivity and perks. But if your spending is more focused on daily expenses rather than premium experiences, you may find better value elsewhere
