Step 1: Visit the official website of Kotak Bank.

Step 2: Select ‘Credit Card’ from the ‘Select Product’ dropdown.

Please note : It takes minimum 15 working days for processing the credit card application from the date of receipt of complete application in all respect.

Any Kotak Credit Card subscriber who wants to cancel their card can do so by calling the Kotak Credit Card customer care line directly at 1860-266-0811 and making a formal request to the customer care executive. You will receive instructions from the executive on proceeding with the process. 

According to the bank, you can cancel a Kotak Mahindra Bank credit card by sending a written request to the bank branch specifying that the card must be revoked. The entire process will begin once the bank gets the request.


 

Your reward points can be redeemed instantly at merchant outlets and stores with the PayByPoints feature. When you shop at merchant locations using your Kotak Credit Card, this feature turns your reward points into cash. OR

Requesting a credit limit increase from the bank is always an option. Based on the justification you give and your history of timely payments, many banks will agree to raise the credit limit on your credit card. It can be done by-

  • Paying your bills on time.

  • Getting a new credit card: If your present credit card's credit limit isn't high enough, you can apply for a new credit card with a greater credit limit.

Low credit utilisation ratio (CUR): Banks will raise your credit limit if you use your credit card frequently and your CUR is low (less than 30%).

You cannot make a direct transfer from your credit card to your bank account. But, you can transfer money from your credit card to your UPI wallet, then to your Kotak Bank account, with the aid of mediators like a BHIM Kotakpay account.

Your credit card should be delivered to you, within 7 working days of your replacement request being submitted or approved.

Once the card has been sent out, they will send you an SMS with the name of the courier service and an AWB number for tracking.
