Application Status Check Process Step by Step.
Step 1: Open Citibank Online on your computer, laptop, or mobile device, and select the "Credit Cards" tab from the menu bar.
Step 2: From the drop-down menu that appears, click on the ‘Track Application Status’ option, which will redirect you to a new page.
Step 3: Enter your application reference number and mobile number (same as the one you entered in your application) and click submit.
Step 4: If the details entered by you are correct, you’ll get one of the following application statuses:
a. Approved
b. Disapproved
c. Dispatched
d. In progress
e. On-hold
Step 5: The reason for each may vary. An ‘in progress’ status may require you to wait for a few more days, an ‘on hold’ status may require further documentation or information from you, while a ‘disapproved’ status could be because your application does not meet Citi’s card eligibility criteria.
Step 6: You may also get a ‘No records found’ status, if the information entered by you is incorrect. Please ensure that you enter the correct details to check the status of your application.
